The Sagar Patagundi Alumni Scholarship

Sagar’s journey to graduation was anything but easy. As an undocumented student, he was ineligible for scholarships or financial aid. Determined to pursue his education, he shared his story across Kentucky, rallying support from local organizations and community leaders to cover his tuition. Against the odds, Sagar walked across the stage at the University of Louisville. Inspired by his resilience, the university created the Sagar Patagundi Alumni Scholarship—a fund designed to support underrepresented students facing the same barriers he once did.
