Sagar Patagundi delivers powerful, story-driven keynotes rooted in his extraordinary journey of overcoming adversity, navigating life as an undocumented immigrant, and discovering purpose beyond circumstance. His talks inspire students, immigrant communities, professionals, and audiences from all walks of life to challenge limitations, embrace their identities, and recognize the possibilities within themselves.
Sagar began his public speaking journey at just 20 years old, using his voice and personal experiences to advocate for immigrant rights and amplify the stories of communities too often unheard. What began as a courageous act of speaking up evolved into a lifelong commitment to advocacy, education, and creating opportunities for others.
Through his community involvement and lasting impact, a scholarship was established in his name at the University of Louisville to provide financial support to underrepresented and underserved students. A graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in Communication, Sagar's contributions to immigrant advocacy and community empowerment also earned him a nomination by the White House during Immigrant Heritage Month in 2016.
Today, Sagar brings those experiences to the stage, blending themes of resilience, identity, mental health, belonging, and the power of perseverance. His keynotes go beyond inspiration—they challenge perspectives, ignite hope, and empower audiences to turn adversity into opportunity.
